I've read that it will stop, but don't know if this is rumour or fact. I can tell you that the ddp offers for 2014 were released on 25th July this year.

Ddp offers for 2014 were released at end of April this year, around 24/25th, not July. So if they do release it for 2015, its likely to be around end of April. However, there are strong rumors that 2014 could be the last year.

Oh dear if it stops may have to re think. Surely it would not be good for disneys on site hotels as I would think the numbers would drop, perhaps they will change it rather than stop it all together.

I think Disney would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did stop it. I was looking at the value resorts for our trip, but ended up booking a delux as it came with the free DDP. I think the Number off people dining in the parks would drop too.

I think lots of people would consider staying off site if they removed the free dining all together. I wouldn't be surprised if they just offered qsdp and if you wanted the DDP then you would have to pay.
Fingers crossed until next year.

the drop in on-site guests wouldnt be massive, lets be honest here, they managed to fill them before the " downward turn " so i guess they will again when things improve

the average " joe " who stays on WDW for 3 - 4 days will not mind that the free DDP has gone, for them short stays its not a massive amount to buy it
