$200 Gift Card - What will you use your's for?

What a great offer, $200 dollars. Im thinking of maybe using this to help towards the cost of a Dooney & Bourke Bag. I already have the purse.

What are you all going to use the $200 gift card for?

Tips and drinks

Love free DDP, but the tips and drinks do add up over a holiday so $200 off it is very handy

...those Glowtini's don't come cheap!

DH and I are going to have a day eating and drinking around the World Showcase although we will probably have to share drinks as our days of being hard core enough to drink one each in every country have sadly gone !

You can either hand it over and ask them to take the money off at the restaurant, or you can charge tips to your room and use the card to pay off your room bill. We did that as it was easier

I think I will use ours to pay off our tips, not sure how much we would be expected to tip, we will have 7 table service meals during our stay.

It's normally 18-20% of the pre-tax price for good service. The amounts are printed on the bill for you.

You might find this information helpful. It's our bills and tips from 2014. There were 4 of us on DDP - 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12, so normally ordering from the adult menu. These are our bills and tips between 2nd and 16th January 2014. The tips are based on the price before tax is added:
Mama Melrose Fantasmic lunch package - $151.96 before tax/ $161.84 with tax. Tipped $31
Sci-Fi Dine-In lunch - $125.39 before tax / 133.38 with tax. Tipped $25
Garden Grill dinner - $151.95 before tax / $161.84 with tax. Tipped $30
Be Our Guest dinner - $141.88 before tax / $151.11 with tax. Tipped $26
Saana dinner - $108.25 before tax / $115.28 with tax. Tipped $19.50
Crystal Palace breakfast - $100 before tax / $106.50 with tax. Tipped $20
Teppen Edo dinner - $140.50 before tax / $149.63 with tax. Tipped $30
Chef Mickey's dinner - $175.95 before tax / $187.40 with tax. Tipped $36
Rainforest Café dinner - $102.70 before tax / $109.38 with tax. Tipped $20
Planet Hollywood dinner - $117.42 before tax / 125.05 with tax. Tipped $25 (also had a charge of $22.67 but this was removed). Looking at this bill it looks like they calculated the tips on the price including tax, not before tax as the Disney restaurants did. TBH, I just looked for the calculations that were on the receipt for 18 and 20%, and never checked, so have just spotted this.
We also did the Hoop De Doo Revue and Cinderella's Royal Table, both of which are 2TS credits and have the tip included.
So our total cost for 2 weeks was $262.50 and as we had the $200 gift card, that covered most of it
