I have never been told in Walmart that my Son couldn't touch alcohol,it has never been mentioned in the 9 times we have visited,my son has been going to Florida since he was 8 and will be 23 this time and alcohol has never bothered him there,Mountain Dew however he is addicted too!
I have been refused orange cough medicine though as I forgot my Id,I had to go and get the husband and his driving licence out of the car!

We went to Walmart as you do, did some shopping including beer and wine. I nipped to the toilet leaving my boys with the trolley the were 17 and 12. Came back and one of the greeters gave us a right ticking off, apparently you can't even leave a minor with alcohol. Didn't know that, lesson learnt.

Universal are also strict in that if you buy 2 drinks, the server has to see the person the other drink is for.
We were at HRH beach club and saw a man being asked for ID. His Dad then tried to buy him a beer and was refused. The young lad then went back to his room, came down to the bar with a glass bottle of beer (next to a swimming pool!) and drank it in front of the staff. The entire family were escorted away without their drinks, by security.

The staff were polite and patient the whole time. The family in question were British too 🙁

Oh, I can't remember which supermarket it was (Walmart/Publix/Target) but my 47 year old DH was ID'd. A message was on the till screen saying "DOES CUSTOMER LOOK UNDER 40?"

Sorry to burst any bubbles, but that is why you are all getting ID'd in the supermarket over there

LOL, this happened to me at the self scan in Walmart, the member of staff entered her code and the above message flashed up on the screen and she cancelled it, I turned to her and said do you need my ID, she said no, so I said cheekily "Oh how rude!" she did laugh, oh and I was a bit over 40 too

No apologies nothing just a shrug of the shoulders and carried on serving me.
Oh to look young. When I was in my 30’s and the cashier in publix refused to ID me, no matter how much I pleaded.
