Mobile Claiming on insurance

were due to fly on the 5th of August. Do I wait till the date has gone before I try to claim under the FCO part. I thought i read somewhere it was 31 days before? Also can I claim photo packs and night before hotel if these don't refund?

What are you claiming for? Your supplier will refund you if your flight or holiday is cancelled, not your insurance. Not sure what a photo pack is, and it depends how much your hotel the night before is, as this could be swallowed up by your excess.

Sorry, your photo is a bit blurred so cant read it. What is it you are wanting to cancel? Package, flights ?
You will need to check that it is 31 days, some are 14, 27 or 30 depending on the policy. Insurance will always ask you to prove you have tried to claim with the suppliers first. So when you are within your FCO timeframe with your insurance, contact your suppliers and see what money you can get back from them.. so for example at 30 days FCO advice is still in place. If you cancel the hotel they will charge you a 25% cancellation fee, they will more than likely get you to claim the 75% direct from the hotel, and claim for the 25% loss with them.
