Hi all,

Sitting here with only a few days left before we go home from Lanzarote, we need a reason to actually go back to work 😉 So after sorting Gran Canaria for March, we are now wanting to book Cancun for September.
Any advice or recommendations appreciated. Have looked at Azul beach resort.

Thanks 😊

There's so many variations that might suit. Do you want good beach? Lots of pools? Nightlife? Travel far from airport? Be near shops/towns?

I've done Dreams Tulum and Beach Palace Cancun. Both very different, both fantastic.

We would like on the beach, nice pools, and a bit of luxury. Prefer all inclusive too.
Thanks 😊

Wow you're a quick mover! What have you decided about Gran Canaria? There have been several good threads on here about Mexico including Cancun and Riviera Maya - the latter appeals to me the most for good value for money AI resorts but that is probably cos we are older than you lol

El Dorado Royale -Adults only though but the only place I have ever been where it was properly all inclusive and if you didn't want to you wouldn't spend anything else. Went 12 yrs ago though think it's expanded somewhat since but proper luxury .👍👍👍

Kerri has no patience, and she's been speaking to people around the pool here and they said Mexico is great, so... 😳
We are looking at Lopesan Costa Meloneras. Won't book till we get home though.
I'm sure you're not much older, just more experienced 😉

We've stayed at the El Dorado Royale and the seaside suites. Also moon palace but that was just too big for us.

Look no further than the Royalton Cancun Riviera, stayed there recently for a fortnight and would highly recommend, it's only a 20 minute transfer which is a plus. Plenty of onsite restaurants, including - Mediterranean, Italian, Chinese, Mexican, Tex-mex, Caribbean, I can't remember the others! 6 or7? pools with a dedicated kids pool with slides etc.private beach, Adult only section, numerous bars serving top branded drinks. Check out their facebook page.
