Aer lingus outgoing flight has disappeared

Had a quick look this morning and my Lba to Mco via Dublin is no longer on the timetable. The only flights from Dublin to mco that day (20th July) are now indirect. Hoping this is a temporary change.

Aer Lingus have announced on Twitter today that they've had to make some schedule changes due to the ongoing Covid situation in Ireland. I've had no word of cancellation of my flight and my booking is still showing. My flight has disappeared off their website though and is no longer bookable. Only indirect flights to MCO are showing.

I messaged them on Twitter yesterday regarding this and they said I would be contacted if my flight was cancelled. I guess I'll have to wait until they sort out their schedules.

We had ours cancelled for September this week.
They didn't tell us either We only found out when we tried to manage our booking.,
Our flight has completely disappeared off their website.
Hubby phoned and they told us they are cancelling lots of legs.
Looking at their website I notice all flights Aug/Sept (all the dates I looked at, at least) from Dublin to MCO are now all indirect via JFK, BOS, and back to England via Heathrow

We have now rebooked for same dates with BA.

I can still see mine ok if I go in to manage my booking.

Were you not able to access your booking at all? Had it completely disappeared?

Hi there

Yes, it had completely disappeared.
My hubby rang them at that point to be told certain legs had been cancelled and they could not provide any alternative, so he asked for a full refund.
Immediately, we went on BA and booked with them.
Was willing to take a chance on Aer Lingus (never flown with them before) but not happy they weren't communicating
Keep an eye on yours because they told hubby they were cancelling many legs

Thank you. I'm half expecting it to be cancelled. Been through this last year with Virgin who cancelled their flights from Belfast for this year but wouldn't admit it thus delaying our refund even more than it should.

1st world problems I know. I really hope you get to go on your holiday. It's an emotional rollercoaster all this booking, changing and rebooking.

I know! Isn't it just!
Kinda used to having to rebook now, actually lost count as we've had two trips rolling over and over since March last year
I hope you get on your trip too I just wish they were more upfront with their plans so we could rebook in a timely manner!

HOPEFully they will be OK about refunding our flights, hope they are an OK company for that

Good luck!

Aer Lingus have confirmed this morning that our flights now have a 5 hour outbound connection and a 20 hour one on the return. I need to contact Disney to change/cancel/see our options but it's a 3 hour wait. Frustrated now.

Also not sure if Disney even know the flights have been changed so don't want to be on hold that long in case they have no idea!
