Which flight were you booked on and have the offered to rebook you yet?

I was on the 12.55 operated by AA. There are 3 other flights that day. Should they change us to another flight? Do they have to honour the price/class (we had a good deal for PE)?

Yes they should change you to another operating flight that day and the class will remain the same with no extra charge. If you booked direct with BA and want to change it I would suggest contacting BA with the details of the flight you want to travel on rather than wait for their automated booking system to allocate one. You would also be entitled to a full refund should you want one.

A refund would be obtained from who you booked with so if it is a travel agent you need to contact them to change/ask for refund.

Thank you. I booked direct. I don’t care which flight we’re on as long as we’re on a flight 😂 I had a total panic moment, but I guess they’re just combining flights or something. That was a horrible little taste of what the disappointment is going to feel like if we do get cancelled ☹️

We had our Edinburgh to London flight cancelled a wee while back. Phoned BA and they sorted out a new flight there and then with no cost to us.

Person on the phone was great so hopefully you will be a quick call and all sorted

We received a cancellation email today too. Our inbound flights have both been cancelled (indirect, operated by AA) and we’ve only been given a replacement for the first leg.

I’ve not contacted them yet but, tbh, we see this as a sign of things to come and have pretty much resigned ourselves to not going 😢.
