Booked with Walt Disney Holidays and cant book BA seats

Hi,

For the first time I have booked with WDW Holidays. Used Virgin, Thomas Cook and TUI before.

When I go into BA Manage My Booking I cant reserve seats on the flight. It says only available at Check In.

I paid a deposit with the rest due in February for a holiday next June 22.

Has anyone come across this before? Do you need to settle the full balance before you can reserve seats?

Many Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

When we had our flights with BA booked through WDTC, we had to pay for our flights in full before we could reserve seats.

Thanks for that I suspected as much.

Did you have to pay the full balance for the holiday and was it automatic once you paid?

Thanks

Steve

I don’t know if you know but If you are travelling with under 12s BA allocate seats for you normally about 5 days before.
Obviously your choice but we’ve always been allocated seats together.

I only had to pay for the flights and left the hotel bit behind until 8 weeks out I think. I’ve gone back through my emails but can’t see I emailed them so it suggests I spoke to them, paid the balance of the flights and they sorted it so I could do the seats.

When booking the full package with Disney we usually you get our travel documents etc through the post about 8-10 weeks before we go, that's usually when i access my flight booking number and reserve my seating, never thought about it before but it probably ties in with the booking being paid in full
