It was almost better than normal really Tom in one way. Allowed to go but left from LHR on time and no delays in a huge queue of planes waiting to take off meaning that you are not in the sky until 45mins plus after being pushed back thinking that you were on time! Just need America to open up now!

So from landing at 3:30pm Canadian time I managed to stay up until midnight ! A total of 26 hours lol!
It was so wonderful to give each other the hugs that we had been missing! I met their little rescue dog Billy too who has moved in and made himself a hugely loved part of the family and immediately shared my lap with him!
The weather here is very grey cold and exceedingly wet but I don’t mind at all!
We have an action packed day today including dining at a DIBB recommendation the LIFT restaurant which none of us have been to before.
Just a heads up if you are headed this way you must have your double vaxx proof on you at all times either virtually or paper form or you are doing nothing except being allowed to go shopping with no exceptions! I’m not sure about medical ones of course.
This is not the same in every province but seems to be being made so.
It is a deliberate strategy by the government to increase the uptake. I think that means that you must also take a form of ID with you too so that it is cross checked.

We got back on Sunday after a mini road trip in and out of Vancouver, we’ve well and truly fallen in love with the place!
We had our last dinner in The Keg, the one by the CF Pacific Shopping Centre on Dunsmuir Street, had a fantastic meal.
You may have been there already but we had an even better steak at LIFT Bar and Grill for my BILs birthday right by the Marina.

Oh my goodness looks amazing.
We have a slight switch out. We aren’t going tonight because we are going to see a performer/friend who is a magician that we originally saw on the Disney Cruise Line in America later in the evening. We had already purchased tickets so it would seem a shame to race through this meal in order to head back off to the show based outside the city centre so we are going to the keg tonight and then we will go here when this restaurant becomes the main event!
