I’ve just looked up PRP, it sounds amazing so I’m definitely going to mention this to my consultant to see if it’s a viable option, or maybe if other routes don’t work. Looks like they offer it at the hospital where I’m seeing him so could be an option. Thank you.

had surgery 25 years ago
Best advice I have ever had was to do as much exercise as possible before surgery - swimming or cycling were possible

Tore mine a couple of years ago. Had arthroscopy to remove the tear, then did a bunch of physio on it, as I was flying to Orlando about 3 or 4 weeks after the surgery!

It's never been quite right since though. I had a follow-up with a different consultant and another MRI which showed there was a small tear still, but he said that really if they remove that too, there'd be so little left that long-term it would be worse.

I said I couldn't run. He said do you do any running? I said no. He said, what's the problem then!

Lola's Reviews
Hotel Reviews: 1
In Dublin now on short trip but hampered by swollen knee due to my past tear and arthritis. Not had difficulty for a number of years but stayed at DD’s apartment in London for the weekend before and she is 6 floors up - elevator broke down last week so big efforts up and down stairs. Voltarol to the rescue and I did remember to bring my walking stick which is usually only deployed in WDW.
