The prices to stay in the villas are also amazing! A 4 bedroomed Villa is going to be $689 per night plus tax.

I was looking at how much they were to buy but you can't find any info on the maintenance fees which I suspect are hefty.

We went to find out about the villas, didn't tell them we were already villa owners. Management is in control of two companies they do all your bookings and keep at least 30% of the money taken.

We came out of the office and said "No thank you", no control on your bookings, actually you can't put your own bookings in.

Let's say we like to do our own bookings and then pay monthly for our management fees, pool and lawn services etc.

IMO they are more like condos than villas from an ownership point of view. They certainly aren't going to let anyone decide how often their lawn needs mowing etc.

I think this could go one of two ways. Either the buyers will make a killing and be getting $350 a night for rentals and be booked up all the time on the back of it being incredibly popular (even if they have to hand over 30%) or they'll be empty a lot and murdered on the fees.

I suspect it will do very well and I will have wished I'd bought one, but I am not prepared to take the risk.
