Well I never did

I do like a omelette as it one of the things I can eat so decided to buy a omelette maker only 15.00 pound. Made a few thought I wonder if it could be used to make cakes ect and it can so made poached egg and a cake for partner and pancakes for me

I’ve been buying ready made poached eggs as no matter how hard I try and how many times I practice I just can’t do them

I love my omelette maker. They come out so thick and fluffy. I always have trouble turning mine over they break up all the time in the frying pan. Got mine from Lidl last year, mine was around £12.

Tip i saw on a tv programme. Boil water in a pan, switch it off, pop egg in and put clear pan lid on and let the steam do the cooking. When the whites have turned white and not clear the yolk is done. I don’t like watery whites so I bought a special poached egg pan with the little inserts so they have a nice shape and they’ve not been in the water. Worked every time so far.
