On-site booking lightning lanes- which day counts?

Hi. We’re only planning on doing a quick Disney visit so youngest DS can visit Star Wars stuff.

I’m thinking of booking an on-site hotel for 1 or 2 nights so we can access booking at 7am. If I want to have 7am access is it the morning after my stay that counts or 7am the day I check in? Thanks

Both should count, since you can check in at 7am if you want to. But it's probably more practical to use your second day so you're not trying to check in and book passes at the same time.

You can check in now if you wanted so would be able to use when u get there. They like you do it on phone so no standing in reception. Obvs you can still do.
