Compromise- 4 days Disney, 4 days Universal? Enough to do each of the Disney parks then a day in each Universal park and Volcano Bay.

They are there for 3 weeks though! 4 day tickets will also not be much cheaper than getting the 14 day tickets which then allow much more flexibility

I think as you are there for 3 weeks Universal just wouldn't be enough, unless you plan to spend over 2 weeks of your 3 not doing parks?

I mean, in 2019 we went to Universal for 1 day and managed to get on pretty much everything we wanted to (across both parks). Going to Universal only for 3 weeks would get boring, quickly.

Given the ages of you going one pro for Universal is that it has a lot less young kids/babies in it. It still has it's fair share but just not as many.

Apart from that your Pros and Cons are the same as mine.

Although we do like thrill rides and they are just all easier to do in Universal as they are all in two parks instead of 4 parks like Disney. Even if you don't do Disney or Universal you can still get your fix with City Walk or Downtown Disney or whatever they call it this year.
