What ride/attractions are you most looking forward to?

We’ve not been to WDW since 2017 (although we had a quick Disney fix in LA in 2019) and I was just mulling over what rides will be new to us in 2022. We have lots of favourites but it will be great to try some new rides. Not sure on the opening dates for some but we’re looking forward to hopefully riding -

Slinky Dog Dash
Rise of the Resistance
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Hagrid’s Motorbikes Adventure
Velocicoaster
Tron?
Guardians of the Galaxy?

Any I’ve missed? What are you looking forward to most?

I don't think Tron will happen next year now, they've gone very quiet about it. Guardians at some point yes.

I'm more of an atmosphere person. I'm most excited about the new light show on Spaceship Earth.

Yes I think we’re a bit optimistic with Tron but DH is desperate to ride it. Mind you, he’s desperate to ride ROTR too!
We love Spaceship Earth and we were gutted when they announced it would be down for a long refurbishment as we thought we’d miss riding it in 2021 - not an issue as it turned out! 🤣

Done ROTR - it's epic. Best thing we've been on/seen. Don't google it, just let it be a surprise - it's so worth it.

Mickey and Minnie's, we skipped it in March 2020 as we were going back with our daughter in May 2020... really looking forward to this one

Hagrids is another that was either a 200 minute wait or broken down so looking forward to getting on this finally.

Philharmagic should be back open - love this.

We are similar to you… we last went in 2017 so lots new for us when we (hopefully) go next year! DH and DD are both excited about Star Wars additions generally and we’re all keen to try RorR. Also keen to try Mickey and Minnie.
I’m also hopeful for Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster.
The main ride from previous visits that I’m desperate to go on again is Flight of Passage…. I love that ride so much!
Probably the main excitement for us as a family is visiting the Harry Potter areas and doing those rides as we’ve never seen any of it and I know we’ll all absolutely love it!

It’s so nice to be looking forward to things again. We have so many favourites to ride and hopefully some new ones too.
FOP was amazing and we love ToT and RnR too.
Velocicoaster looks amazing- I just hope I can handle it. Some of the bigger coasters seem to rattle my poor brain as I get older!

We last went in May 2019, but still lots to look forward to:

Universal:
Velocicoaster
Hagrid’s motorbike adventure

Disney:
Mickey and minnie’s runaway railway
ROTR
Smugglers run
Remy’s

There are some rides we’ve still not done in the last two trips, so we are looking forward to getting those done.

I’m mostly just looking forward to being back in that atmosphere, not a care in the world, strolling down Main Street and taking in the smells and sights. Or walking into the Wizarding world of Harry Potter and seeing the shops and re visiting those rides.

Ah yes, we did manage to ride that in LA (ROTR hadn’t opened there yet) and it was brilliant so we’ll definitely be giving that another go. I don’t think me and DH were very good pilots though - the Falcon looked a bit battered when we’d finished

We are only doing Discovery Cove ultimates in our 7 Orlando/Tampa based days, so…

Iron Gwazi at BG
Ice Breaker at SW
The 3 new water rides at Aquatica.

I will miss not doing Hagrids Motorcycle ride again as it is one of the best rides I have ever been on!
