Oh I do hope all is well with your new furbaby 🤞
It is such a worry when they are poorly.

Our lab pup, now 14 months was plagued with giardia for the first year causing intermittent D&V. His immune system just wouldn't shake it off and its the only parasite that his monthly Nexgard Spectra doesn't treat. The vet had to send off samples and he's had various courses of medicine. It's picked up when they eat stuff (inc poo) outside, but we think his mum must have had it as his first dose was before he was out walks.

She got anti sickness jab, was a bit dehydrated but vet thinks we we’re giving her too much mixed food. Breeder gave us puppy beta, told us scrambled egg/mince/ butchers wet food along with the dried food and goats milk. So she has been on cooked chicken, and slowly introducing beta back into the food. I feel she’s still not drinking enough water, so I mix some in her food. Vet said she doesn’t need milk anymore. You get so much conflicting info from vets and breeders. She’s doing well, getting plenty of sleep and playing with everything and everybody xxx

Pleased pup is better Shirley, that does sound a lot of different mixes for such a young pup.
Funny as Riley came to us in beta, he was sick for a day or so and had terrible runs, poor little might was going 15 times a day for a day or so.
He also had a jab, fed him chicken and rice for a few days then moved him into a different dried food.

Glad she's okay.
I did wonder if it was a feeding issue.
It's like having another child when you get a puppy 😂❤️
