With the Universal all day dining, can it only be used for 1 meal? I assumed you could eat all your meals there for the day you purchased?

Dining day 3 Legoland

Friday 16th October 2015

We refilled the mugs at the resort, coffee for us with vanilla creamer I love and hot chocolate for DD

Breakfast

Nikko's egg city, hwy 27 Haines City

Our first time here. It is next to Mannys chop house and is owned by his son. We stopped as it was enroute to Legoland.

It was nice inside like a retro diner theme and all locals. Staff were friendly.

Portions were massive.

I had a veggie 4 egg omelette with homefries, DH a meat 4 egg omelette with homefries and DD a pancake. We had juice and coffee to drink and DD choc milk. DD also had bacon and sausage as sides.

We would go again if were down that way.

$30.79 plus tip

Random Walmart pictures from Walmart near Legoland

We were too early for 10am opening at Legoland so popped into Walmart for some snacks and drinks for the park.

Legoland

We bought 2 drinks Gatorade $3 plus tax each

Dinner

Mannys, Haines City

I know Mannys is like marmite but we’ve always had decent meals here over the years.

We stopped on our way back up from Legoland. We got there before opening at 4pm and joined the queue. We were seated as soon as they opened.

As it was a Friday there were no happy hour food deals on. Kids eat free is Monday and Tuesday. BOGOF fajitas is Wednesday.

We both had the 14oz super top sirloin, me with a loaded baked potato and DH paid extra for mac and cheese. DD had kids steak but we shared some of ours with her as she loves steak. We all had soda to drink.

Food was good and includes rolls with honey butter and salad.

For dessert I had a coupon from the email club for a free sundae so we shared that.

Fun atmosphere and good value.

$53.85 plus tip

We also had a panic over finding a plain ham sandwich to buy at the airport!

I wondered what the Breadbox was like as I thought it may be somewhere to satisfy my 10 years old limited meal choices whilst we stay at RPR next year. I think the Nutella milkshake would definitely satisfy her older sister's love of Nutella!
Thank you Thank goodness the second Boots near the gate had the sandwich. Breadbox was fine for something quick and simple, they were also happy to leave things off the sandwich. My DD loved the milkshake, she had another later in the trip.

Village inn is very near Seaworld on Westood blvd.

Didn't know about the Universal Dining card - is it the same price in advance as on the day?
Yes the Universal dining deal is the same bought in advance or at the till (they sometimes do buy one get one half price for AP holders too) I'd bought in advance along with the golf and dine but no need to.

Thank you. I'm not as good this year as the receipt bag got thrown during a very stressful last night packing on the cruise. Village inn isn't fancy but if you're near seaworld/aquatica definitely worth a stop. Similar to friendly's, dennys etc. The appetiser thing worked well at bahama breeze but we way over ordered 3 or 4 between 2 would have been plenty.

Thank you. I do try and note prices as food is such a big part of the holiday budget.

Thanks. We hadn't been to the one at Altamonte before but have been to a few over the years inc I drive and always enjoyed the food.

Sorry I've edited my post as it is called the Quick service plan now.

You are right it used to be called the all day dining and was all you can eat, they stopped that a few years ago.

For $19.99 ($12.99 kids) we got a quick service entree and drink plus an extra drink and a snack worth $5.

It is only worth doing if you are having a meal at one of the two potter restaurants, if you are only spending $10 on a burger then you wont save anything by doing the deal.

So happy to see another one of your food reports.

My ds is very keen to try the big pink doughnut at Universal.

Your dd is looking so grown up.
