This is so true. Your postcode determines your premium more than anything else. Confused.com recently said the town where I live is the most expensive car insurance in the country ! Like you say due to the numerous cash for crash incidents. Son bought the P plates but we didn’t put them on because the scum around here would follow him as a new driver ready to cause a “crash” Son still managed to get a good deal by shopping around and ensuring he had the lowest group car he could (1.0 Vauxhall Viva) I wouldn’t have been happy with him getting a bigger engined car anyway because I don’t believe new drivers have the skill straight away to drive them.

A Policeman told me he discourages from P plates , because it advertises your a new driver and you become a instant target for the crash for cash scumbags

Thanks for all your suggestions
She’s purchased a Peugeot 107 and insurance was £1400 fully comprehensive and no black box needed with Churchill x 😀 so she’s very happy with that x

It’s amazing how insurance policies differ so much, it’s really worth a bit of time and effort to research, bondy.
