Va man-mco

Has it been announced, what VA will be replacing th 747's from Manchester with? Will the new aircraft carry the same flight ID (VS075) or will it also be replaced?

No it hasn't.

The fleet options are below with max seat numbers. Any combination of these could potentially be used for specific flights but most likely it will be the A330

4 x A330-200(1/2): 19 UC, 35/36 PE, 212 EC
10 x A330-300: 31 UC, 48 PE, 185 EC
4 x A350: 44 UC, 56 PE, 235 EC
17 x 787: 31 UC, 35 PE, 192 EC

7 x 747 (retired): 14 UC, 66 PE, 375 EC

Thanks for the reply

Oooffff, the A330-300 looks abit tight. The 200 looks to have a little bit extra legroom down the sides, but that could be just how the seat configuration map looks.

Guess we'll find out what there using on this route one way or another

Was it only 12 months ago that I was talking on here about the TC A330 and seats 7A & C being the best in PE?

It would be the A330-200 in the short term as that is what they have been using in the past to MCO along with the 747s. The 787 and A350 have too many UC seats for the MCo routes. In the future, if they get them, it would be the high density A350 but mos likely they would use the new A330 neos they have on order to replace the A330-200s

How will that work with regards to seat numbers as the A330 holds less. We're booked in the bubble in August and if it goes ahead I wonder what they do with numbers.

There is capacity even in peak season. Some off peak flights had just 80 passengers on their 747’s😮

Every flight I've been on with virgin man-moo has been full- school holidays usually- it won't be good news for price- already a premium for man direct- those of us restricted to school holidays will feel the cost increase
