You do what you think is best for you , as long as it's refundable and you want to do it, then go for it.

Depends- Is it refundable? Are you covered for all eventualities? ie what if you are having to self isolate, test positive the day before travel, will travel insuracne cover you, etc. Are you willing to go and have to quarantine on return or worse on arrival? As far as I can see insurance policies /cancelations terms and agreements will only cover so much- I always can see a way I will loss out significantly. I know I'm pessimistic but as desperate as I am to book I don't think I can right now.

I have now got to the stage of wanting to book.
But I dont really want to wear a mask for 16 hours (when you consider a 11 hours on a plane and 5 hours in airports at both ends)

If you’re crazy then so am I! Already booked for July, although just a deposit on flights at the moment.

Book it! We are booking for September. You're definitely not crazy! I imagaine the prices will be crazy once the travel restrictions are lifted. So just go for it.

Well we are 4 months crazier then you then.

Do it, we did a couple of weeks ago, decided that if the flight ban got lifted the prices would soar very quickly then we would be gutted apt paying those prices, so safer to book and get cancelled or possibly lose £100 if we change our dates if we decide to push our trip back again. ( we booked flight s+ hotel through BA)
