I will give steak a go then, I don’t eat steak a lot, but I do like it every now and again. I will be happy enough to see the decor.

Forgive me if I'm being stupid here, but we have the full board plus so do we have full choice on the menu or do we get 37Euro credit each towards our bill.

You have the set menu for Plus level. At the moment for most restaurants it is the only set menu showing.

If you want anything different you can use it as credit.

Full board means 3 meals. Buffet breakfast in the hotel, then 3 course lunch or buffet lunch in a restaurant, then 3 course dinner or buffet dinner in a restaurant. For me it is way too much food and too much time - the French don’t rush food, and a meal can easily take two hours.

Some places may let you use a credit for a counter service meal - appallingly bad value for money though. And counter service can be incredibly slow and the food not great. I tend to have a big breakfast, skip lunch and take a whole evening to relax over dinner.

As I am understanding, no you won’t get full choice of the menus, you won’t have access to the “premium” menus. Your full board means that you get three meals a day rather than the two I will get on my half board plus.

I have to disagree Gill - I think it can be a bit hit and miss, and I find the menu feels a bit overpriced for what is on offer - however, the theming is amazing.
I think the best value for your Plus credit would probably be Captain Jack's, The Yacht Club or Silver Spur. All of these have a variety of options - although Jack's is a venue that is not to everyone's taste (food wise).

Agree Captain Jack’s menu is a bit ‘out there’. They rely too much on pineapple, coconut, plantain... Some of the food is actually not as weird as it sounds though, and the ambience is great.

We paid extra for the more expensive menu at Silver Spur and were pleasantly surprised. For years I had read bad things about the steak, but ours was lovely.

Yacht Club is beautiful but we found the Plus menu bland and boring. Think I would pay the extra for something a bit more interesting.
