We never had much luck at seven months for studios but one beds we could normally get at seven months (SV)

We have had a one bed twice at 7. A studio though is quite unlikely.

The beauty of owning there is that as long as you book bang on 11 months, you should always get one.

Given the low points, trust me when I say that’s one of the best perks in DVC.

Only reason I have not bought Boardwalk (or BCV) is the contract is too short for me.

I've stayed at both and I prefer BCV, we've stayed there numerous times and haven't had what I'd class as a bad view room. It is a separate building to the main hotel but literally a short stroll into the main building.

The thing that put me off BWV was the distance to the room. I timed it and it took 20 minutes to walk from the car to the room. There seemed to be endless corridors, I know that this could also be an issue at ALK but at least there you have lovely views to break up the long walk.

Edited to add - It's purely subjective and people will like different resorts for various reasons. Even though they're in the same area I love OKW for the theming and ambiance but really don't like SSR as it just feel soulless. If your heart is set on BCV then it's probably worth waiting for the right contract for you to come along, if you don't really care then go for BWV if that contract comes up first.

If BCV is what you really want then you should definitely hold out for it. Is it an unusually small contract that you're looking for? Or a less popular use year? Make sure you're checking as many brokers as possible!
