MNSSHP 2018 dates

We are going 17th October-2nd November 2018, how far in advance do they release dates for MNSSHP and where do we find them ?

They normally release the tickets at the beginning of May...there is normally a link on the DIBB. 🙂

I'm really hoping they start in late August again in 2018! We're stuck to school holiday with my partner being a teacher but praying we can do the first Halloween party end of August, the character outfits look so so cute!

This is exactly what I am hoping too, I am a teacher as well so also tied to school holidays.

They have to let F&G finish first, give them until at least June 1st

If like this year, dates will be announced in April with tickets going on sale in May. They'll officially be on the Disney Parks blog, but I'm sure the news section will be updated here quickly as well.

Park hours are released just over 6 months in advance. Last year people ( myself included!) got very excited when we saw MK was closing at 7pm on 25th and 29th August and really hoped that it would mean MNSSHP, as a 7pm closing would normally indicate a party night. And as luck would have it, they were indeed parties!
The actual tickets went on sale on May 9th this year, but the dates were officially released in April.

Just been doing some research so I can get planning and get ADRs booked, and I found some dates on wdw magic (a ‘litttle bird’ told someone apparently.)

Those predicted dates for August are 21st, 24th, 28th and 31st. Just checked MK opening hours on here and the park closes at 6pm on those days which would suggest there’s a good chance they are MNSSHP dates. Look’s like if that’s the case, there are even more August parties this year than last year.

There is also some speculation about 17th August as MK also closes at 6pm that day, but some have suggested it may be a private event.

Obviously it’s all speculation at the moment and I don’t think we’ll find out official dates until at least next month, but it’s tricky to plan parks and restaurants without all the information so I’m going to tentatively use those dates in my planning.

We’ve never done MNSSHP before so are really excited about finally being able to go to one. Just trying to decide whether the earlier or later August parties are likely to be busier , although I’ve heard that the parades, fireworks and character meets are likely to be crazy anyway whether the party sells out or not.

We have had these dates for over a month and there are many threads on the subject. Just to recap what we know of the 6pm closures. At this point we don't know if they are all MNSSHP or private events...
