Natsynoo's Perfect Panamian Adventure: DCL EBPC Oct 2018 - Day 9 At Sea
We woke up this morning at 7.45am in time for our character breakfast reservation at 8.30am.
IMG_1423 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr In the meantime, I had a message from my sister complimenting me on last night’s outfit (the red dress) and telling me I clearly wasn’t eating enough – errr, yes I was! It made me laugh! The character breakfast was standard for DCL and honestly I don’t think we’ll do it again. We always find it cramped, limited menu, rushed, loud, and just not the experience we envisage. Nonetheless, it was nice to see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto. I also finished my second book of the trip so far, it was so nice to have such a lot of ‘chill time’. It started to rain at 11am, so we say down on Deck 9 for a while watching Moana. I went in the hot tub for 45 minutes before lunch, which was nice. Cabanas lunch today had an Italian theme, the lasagne was particularly good. IMG_1422 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181025_180157 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr The afternoon was a washout , and Matt wasn’t best pleased. It did feel like a waste of a day but Matt wasn’t keen on any of the afternoon’s activities, so we ended up just hanging around on Deck 9. We did meet Pirate Stitch though! 20181025_192610_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We got ready for the evening at 4.30pm, and were excited for tonight’s showtime - Junnk! The lads from Junnk are local to us here in Bournemouth so we occasionally see them around, which is cool. Our drinks tonight were again $4.31. Matt enjoyed some chicken wings too. IMG_1435 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Dinner tonight was at Animator’s Palate. IMG_1437 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I had the Crab Cake – delicious! IMG_1438 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr And then the Chilled Mango Soup IMG_1439 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We both had the Lamb Shank – and it was huge! IMG_1440 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr Matt also had the Strip Loin 20181025_205402 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr I then had the Fruit Cobbler for dessert IMG_1441 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr And Matt had some ice cream 20181025_211930 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We went up on deck after dinner for the Pirate Party and Fireworks – click through on the next image to watch the video IMG_1443 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181025_220119_Fotor by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181025_220037 by Natalie Pope, on Flickr 20181025_222342(0) by Natalie Pope, on Flickr We headed to bed at 10.30pm – we loved this towel animal! Thank you! It's a favourite of mine too! And very comfy as it's stretchy
No, it's included, but generally only offered on the special itineraries The food is actually very limited, but we just go for the easy pictures |
