We are simpatico 🥴

Not sure why the ‘childless millennial’ thing was brought up though - it’s not children who are most at risk but the elderly and those with underlying health conditions. If you are prepared to quarantine when you get home and are allowed to fly that’s your decision. No point in sticking your head in the sand either way - for everyone who says we are now on a decline it’s taken 4 months and the US is in a worse position than they were pre lockdown. They need another, longer one but they won’t do it because of the economy.
I just mean since I don’t have kids, I can handle going with no parades, character meets or fireworks as I don’t Have kids to disappoint. I’m part of a lot of Facebook groups and most of the comments are negative on posts or people piling on to folk who still think they have a shot of going! I just don’t like how the current situation has turned people against each other! I’m not replying to other comments as I think I have been misunderstood, just wanted to clear up the millennial part! 😂

I know people think that’s stupid or irresponsible but as a childless millennial I’m happy with the restrictions and if we can’t go this year we won’t be able to go until 2022 so I really hope it goes ahead! Things are changing weekly, hang on in there a little bit longer yet

Why worry what others are saying or doing ?

I hope we can fly this year , I am fortunate in that I can go to a friends there anytime , but I absolutely want to be in Phoenix 5th November for 5 days , and I’ll have a 2 yr old with me .
I don’t really care if people think that’s irresponsible or stupid .. it’s not their decision to make ..same as if you go it’s nothing to do with anyone else .

Totally agree. We went to DLP in March just before it closed we could as it was deemed safe to so we did.

There were no parades , shows or fireworks but we still had a brilliant time.

I am currently in Orlando with my family, no theme parks but still a lovely time.
I am at this minute sitting on a bench in the Mall At Millenia, masks are mandatory here in Orlando, and I'd say out of this huge crowd, all but 2 people have them on. People have been courteous and are social distancing.

Our only negative experiences have been Cocoa beach---- NO masks, incredible crowds of people, we didn't even get out of our car and just went straight to Kennedy Space Center where everyone was in compliance with safe healthy standards. Our 2nd bad experience was at Daytona beach, in town was fine, but the beaches were jammed.

We have rented a condominium with a private pool and we swim in privacy. Restaurants are so impressive with the cleaning and limiting people inside. Really, I feel fairly safe. Yes there is a slight risk, but with hand cleaner, masks, and my bag of cleaning wipes I carry---- I'm taking precautions and feel pretty good about it.

I’m currently in the Orlando area but only because I live here and I have no other choice.

Last nite returning home along the 192 was crazy peak tourist season busy 😟 and every other license plate was out of state.
