Hope it’s readable.
It is but it doesn’t look like foreign owners are being given preferable treatment?

I can’t see how they would be able to do this. International owners could have rented their points out and still contributed to wear and tear. It would be impossible to identify how each owner has been impacted and give additional refunds. Some owners won’t be affected at all because they had cleared out their points and hadn’t planned on visiting post border closure.

I tend to agree with this. I very much doubt that Disney IT would be able to cope with the complicated analysis needed to achieve this.

One of our home resorts is VGC and that has not even reopened yet (will do so in next few days). I'm crossing my fingers that there will be some form of rebate which takes this into account. Not holding my breath though

That makes more sense & what they said at the beginning. We could still have gone via another country had we had the inclination, so surely would be a can of worms refunding international members.

They can't give a credit just to international owners, USA owners would (rightly) go mad and probably sue. It would be very unfair and am unsure if legally it would be allowed.

The credit on the dues is what I have been hoping for all along, its good to see it actually happening, I don't expect it to be huge though, at best it may offset this years increase in dues

It's looking more likely we'll get something, though logistically I think it will be a blanket credit based on resort and points.

That's fake news. Nowhere in the POS is written that different members may pay different amounts of dues.
Buying as international owners we accepted the risk of not being able to use our points for events like this one.

Jason has posted link to DVC meeting via Twitter.

They have just confirmed a dues credit to be deducted from 2021 dues bill.

This is good news, but I thought all the DVC resorts closed and opened at the same time. Some of these credits are wildly different.
