A question for the gents only...

Can anyone recommend a top notch electric razor?

Preferably rechargeable. No limit to cost.

I’ve wet shaved all my life but am considering a change... so Any recommendations on which model/type to go for?

Thanks in advance ...

Edit : if you wet Shave , which razor do you use?

I’ve tried a few and never found one that’s as good as having a wet shave so can’t recommend one sorry. I will follow with interest though

Totally agree.if we are going out in the evening I have to wet shave twice a day. If I use an electric I feel grubby an hour after using it sadly.

Best of luck n your hunt.

I think that’s why I’ve wet shaved all the time Tom. I’ve preferred it.

Like the others. I have never found one that comes close to wet shaving.

I now buy cheap disposables and get rid often. Believe it or not, I have used Shield/Protect soap to shave for over 20 years. Works great!

Nope. Sometimes people try to reinvent the wheel.

Whilst I am not advocating a bash with a cut throat for the untrained, A bic and some soap worked perfectly well throughout 12 years of Army inspections.

Agree with others. Tried electric ones and none of them are as good as a wet shave.

In the last 12 months I've gone from using Gel to using a stick and brush.

Only wet shave with Gillete Mach whatever they are, nothing else lasts or compares.

Haven't used an electric since I was bought one when I was 15.

Never found an electric to be anywhere near the experience of a wet shave.

Many years ago I through a very tricky transfer of BA miles via Amtrak points to a shopping voucher for Bloomingdales. While in Orlando bought a expensive shaving kit from Art of Shaving which included a badger hair brush.

Still in daily use 10 years later. I like to make shaving an experience every morning. It helps set me up for the day.
