Just can’t be bothered
DH has been asking when our Christmas tree is going up and I just can’t be bothered with it.
I’m really feeling down at the moment and as far as I’m concerned Christmas can just come and go. I’ve got all the presents for the grandchildren piled up in the dining room and I feel the same about wrapping them. We’ve been invited to our sons for Christmas Day and for a couple of reasons I’m not going into on here I don’t want to go I’d rather stay home. We get on really well with our DIL and I know they’ll be disappointed if we don’t go Sorry for the moaning if you’ve managed to get this far but I just don’t know how to snap out of this. Does anyone else feel like this?

I would say take one day at a time. How you feel today may not be how you feel in, say, 7-14 days time.
There's no denying we are going through a sh*te time and you are not alone in feeling this way Love and hugs S, Ali |

Just read this post which makes me feel guilty about a post on another thread by you which I responded to. I think you thought I was having a go at you when it was the MP Gavin Williamson I was talking about.
Don’t want you to feel I meant you - especially if you are struggling just now. I was actually agreeing with you. Edited at 05:59 PM. |

Feel exactly the same, totally lost my mojo I’m usually really focused but can’t snap out of it.

{Hugs} to you I know just how you feel, I just want Christmas over this year and as I'm not putting a tree up (work going on in house so no room) my DD brought a tiny real tree round last night and left it on the doorstep which did cheer me up a bit
I hope you feel a bit better soon x

It's a trying time for us all at the moment and I totally understand how you feel because I've just been in that position.
You have to try and snap yourself out of it, not easy but you'll get there. Sending hugs 🤗 |

I know how you feel, the thought of putting the tree up holds no appeal for me but I'm going to force myself to do it at the weekend.
If I pretend I'm getting into the Christmas spirit it might happen. Just look ahead to 21st Dec the shortest day, after that the nights are on the turn to the spring as my mum would have said 😉 |

I feel like this every Christmas unfortunately. Used to love Xmas time but due to family issues it's just become stressful for me each year and I'd rather just not have it at all
