Mobile Adults only or luxury hotel

I am looking for a nice relaxing holiday in Europe (Spain, Portugal or Greek Islands probably) for DH and myself in early October. DD is going to university so this will be our first ‘child free’ holiday for over 30 years. We are hoping to get a late deal a few weeks before we fly as we aren’t looking for a particular resort but we would like it to be a nice hotel.

DH has said an adults only resort would be nice but they seem to be more expensive than an equivalent 4-5* family resort. Anyone have any thoughts on this, are adults only resorts worth booking over a regular luxury hotel?

Porto Demo Boutique Hotel in Corfu looks lovely and is adult only.

I you like Croatia, the Hotel Damianii is another fab hotel, or in Mallorca, the Bonsol, near Palma, or Astoria Playa which is adult only.

The Don Gregory in St. Agustin, Gran Canaria is an adult only hotel right on the beach. Had a good week here in January.

Thank you, off to check these out 😀 We have never been to Corfu so that would be nice. We love Mallorca but usually go to the North of the island so Palma would be a change too.

Gran Canaria is the only Canary Island we haven’t visited either, so will check this out too. Thanks for the recommendation

Have a look at La Marquise in Kallithea Rhodes it isn’t adult only but you can iPhoto an adult only area but there weren’t many children there when we stayed last July for our sons wedding.

I’m trying to upload a couple more pics but for some reason I can’t sorry

Thanks everyone, there are some beautiful hotels here. We stayed at Sarigerme many years ago in the holiday village when our DD was very young. We have never been to Rhodes. The only Greek Island we have been to is Crete so would be interested in seeing more of Greece. However one of our Crete stays was in late October and the weather wasn’t very good at all. This trip would be early October, is the weather reasonably warm then? We don’t need to be really hot but we would like a bit of sunshine 😀 .

I am going to make a shortlist of all these lovely hotels and see if we can get a late bargain at any of them for October. So won’t be booking until September probably.

Grateful for any more suggestions too, thanks 😀

Thank you, I have wondered about sites like this and also Secret Escapes. Wasn’t sure how reliable they are, have you booked through them before?
