Whale Watching Tour Vancouver Island?
I wanted to start planning the specifics for our upcoming Vancouver / Vancouver Island / Rockies trip.
I really want to go on a Whale Watching Tour, probably whilst we are in Victoria. I've looked online and there are loads! Does anyone have any recommendations? TIA

We booked with Eagle Wing tours - really great company and if you look online we found a 20% discount.
Did the sunset trip and followed an orca pod which was amazing, real highlight of our trip.

We used a company called Eagle Eye and we did ours from Campbell River. We loved Vancouver Island. If you are going to Tofino, I recommend the Best Western Tin Wis hotel, it was right on the beach and we loved it.

I used five star whale watching. This left from Victoria. Very good company would recommend and I believe were a reasonable price too 😊

Excited about Disney
|
We had a really good trip last summer with Sidney Whale Watching from Sidney, which is near Victoria airport & about 30 minutes north of Victoria. We chose them as they have a boat they call the "K-Ko" which is more stable & better for people who get seasick (like my DH!). The boat had a maximum of 12 seats. Sidney is also apparently about 30 minutes closer than Victoria to the areas where Orcas are most likely to be found & the water is calmer. We were lucky to follow a pod of 8 Orcas including a playful baby for about an hour. We'd certainly recommend this company.
