Magic Bands

Hello! Don’t know if anyone else has had this yet. We ordered some of the nicer magic bands for our stay in September. We’ve had to change our dates and resort to February. Does anyone know what happens there? It says we can choose new bands so assuming we can’t just get the original ones we ordered.

Anyone else run into this?

We had a nightmare with this last year when we changed our booking from Jambo to Kidani.

We got our email saying the bands had been dispatched to the hotel but when we went to reception they were not there. They told us as we ordered them when our booking was a Jambo, and we were no longer staying there, they had been returned.

A few days later then they told us they had located them, but when we went to collect them they didnt have them.

About 3 weeks later, they turned up at our home address.

The original ones you ordered should be refunded as your booking has been changed. We had purchased bands for our 1 night stay in July however when Hotels.com cancelled our booking (before covid-19) and we had to rebook we were told by Disney that we would no longer be able to get those bands even though we were still staying in the same resort on the same date and they processed a refund.

I have had a response from Disney about this but thank you to you all! Shame we can’t get the original ones we picked but at least they’re refunding. Now back to obsessively checking the selection daily 😂
