Ordering MagicBand help

Hi there,

I'm at a loss with ordering magicbands for our trip this year. I know they are no longer a necessity but I love having them as souvenir.

I first went to order some back early Jan, I wanted to look at what the colours were first. Picked two, got as far as checkout but didn't continue as I hadn't been paid yet.

Come back to this Feb I tried to go back on to order the magicbands as I had now been paid. However, everytime I click the "Edit Order" button it takes me to an FAQ page.

I've been going back and forth in emails with Disney for over a week now, and was on hold for over an hour twice when I rang.

They have suggested the following to try:
Use a laptop not my phone ( I was using a laptop anyway)
Check my own laptop was not a work laptop ( It is my personal laptop)
Log in and out
Use a different browser
Using a private browser
Use a different laptop
Delete cookies and try again

None of these have work. Clicking on the edit order button takes me to the following link (excluding the first part so I can post):
disneyholidays.co.uk/walt-disney-world/faq/my-disney-experience/#6

I know I can order through the Disney Store, but I was relying on the discount of doing it through my booking.

Can anyone offer any other insight?

Thanks!

You cannot preorder them any more. The FAQ that appears when you click on the magic band area explains that bands can only be purchased in a a hotel or World of Disney.

They should probably take down the bit of the website that suggests you might be able to pre order.

Thank you!
I wonder why they haven't just said that to me from the beginning! The customer service keeps telling me that I should be able to preorder, the bands are just not free anymore but with a discount.

I think this may just be for international visitors, so we don't clog up the system with orders that they later have to refund if we don't get to go. I imagine they will turn the function back on once borders reopen.
Hoping that if we manage to get there this year but haven't been able to preorder magic bands, they will give a discount on the bands available over there, much more choice that way 👍

US guests seem to be able to order at a discount with bookings and this seemed to be the case with our booking until a few weeks ago. Such a shame. I hope they open it back up, magic bands must make them money and there are precious few benefits to being on site at the moment.
