Universal annual pass validity.

So we are due to fly in October and I want to purchase the universal season pass before the 3 months free offer ends at the end of the month. Can anyone confirm that if we don’t get to travel this year these can be used next year instead?

Yes, there’s a few threads on it in the last week or so. It starts when you first enter a park. Can be this year, next year or in 10 years time.

Just check the T&C's & it will confirm. Before last year their AP deals tended to have something like " first use by XX date" this stipulation disappeared last year, possibly to encourage buyers.

I’d buy it now as it won’t be activated til u first scan it at the parks then the term of the duration of the pass will start. I renewed I preferred pass lastmay (thinking I’d get back in nov) when I fo7 d out I wasn’t getting g in March this year I called universal, and asked if there was anyway I could get an extension on my pass since I couldn’t travel, they said no but what they would do is , deactivate my pass til I can return then all I do is call up the day before I go to universal and using the ref they gave me my pass will then be active for 15 months so I don’t loose anything

I bought mine and I emailed to check before purchase and they confirmed the 15 months starts once they are activated at the turnstile and there is no date limit so if your first trip isn’t until 2022/2023 it wouldn’t be an issue.
