Linking two sets of tickets

I’ve cancelled our Disney hotel and tickets and bought tickets elsewhere. The booking still shows on MDE but I’m impatient to get parks reserved under my new tickets. Has anyone had two lots of tickets linked or would I just be opening a can of worms?

I have 1 magic band and 2 tickets showing against my name which are showing as deactivated, 2 are old and one I am in the process of cancelling. I have been told when I send the ticket back and get a new ones the current deactivated one will still show on MDE I can not delete it. I simply add the new one activate it and book new park days one of the tickets still showing is 5 years old it was a 14 day hopper and was fully used. I still can not get rid of it unless someone knows different, it may be different if purchased direct. I would rather it was free of all except the new ones so I do not get confused

Mine are part of a Disney package so I can’t do anything myself and they still show as active. Worst case if I link the new tickets and book park reservations is that they disappear when my booking finally does but then I’d just go back in and book them again.

Not quite the same I cancelled my May trip with Virgin and they transferred my booking to next year.

My MDE is still showing my May trip (flight and Hotel) going May 15

Cancelled at least a month ago

That’s my worry, I don’t want to wait too long in case park reservations become an issue.
