I must confess, I have been a long time browser of this website and thought I would take the leap and say hello!

Have you guys got any tips for the halloween season for MNSSHP and Horror Nights?
Hi! And congrats on your upcoming wedding. How exciting! We live Florida in October as the decor is fab and weather tends to be lovely. My tip for the Halloween party is to take your own bag to use for the treats, as you can then empty the smaller bag into your own, bigger bag throughout the night - that’s if you want to bag a bunch of candy! They don’t hold back giving it out so you can collect a good haul. Make sure you also visit the party areas as well as the trick n treat trails. We loved dancing with Goody, Stitch and Chip n Dale and friends in tomorrow land. Also, if you intend on dressing up then go to Walmart/Target, as they have so many costumes and they are usually a decent price.

I’d advise you do the haunted houses at HHN earlier as they get crowded later into the evening. Although, it’s been quite a few years since we went. And if you interact with the characters (without touching them of course) they will play back to you and it can be lots of fun. We had a cast member calling my niece chicken for not daring to walk down one of the streets - all in fun though as they could see my niece laughing and joking.

Thanks for all the tips! It's been up in the air over the past few months but we are looking at next year now. It sounds amazing! The haunted houses are the big draw for me - I love anything scary!
