May flight prices
We are hoping to book for May 2022 and noticed that Virgin have fly drive prices out. I was tempted to book but having never been in May I am not sure if the price is good. It was £2480 for 3 adults for 16 nights flying back the bank holiday weekend that the kids break up and included a fully insured Rav 4 or similar. If we booked direct flights and the car ourselves would it be a lot cheaper?

I have booked BA for May 2021, 3 adults and 1 young adult, Direct flights, 17 nights accommodation at a villa resort and a Group W car hire for £3054, to give you an idea what prices are like (and that is a very good deal)

I think you could do better than that for May but who knows at the moment?

BA are about £1500 for that same package.
Given they have very flexible arrangements at the moment I can't see any reason to book with Virgin for an extra £1000. Edit - unless this is a Manchester booking, which in that case all bets are off. Edited at 10:33 AM. |
