Alternatives to Sweet Tomatoes
On our 2018 trip we ate in Sweet Tomatoes a few times as it suited us all so well. Salads to counterbalance the fries and snacks elsewhere, pasta, soup and baked potatoes for our young son, low prices and and super quick when we were tired after a full morning at the parks.
Where are the best alternatives? |

We used to absolutely love sweet tomatoes and would go their multiple times on our holiday. By day 5 we are all desperate for some veg in our diet! Will be interested to see what people suggest 🙂

We were also Sweet Tomatoes fans and found ourselves picking up ready made salads from Publix along with a cooked chicken. Quick, cheap and healthy meal.
We usually stay in a villa so it can be easier to eat well. But all the sit down restaurants have healthier choices its just that people don't always choose them. Outback has grilled fish with fresh veg, house salad with dressing on the side, 6oz steak and salad etc. Just need to make those choices. |

I was going to say the same, it's not compulsory to have fried food + fries in the parks - there are so many good options now.
That said, we were also big Sweet Tomatoes fans and it's sad to think we won't be able to go back. |

It wasn’t only the healthier options, it was the ease and speed of lunch there. We only ate offsite at a proper restaurant once, and that was at Cocoa Beach. We tried Olive Garden once but there was a queue. Our son has ASD so we don’t queue for restaurants.

For anyone going to Vineland Outlets Greenbeat is a very good alternative to Sweet Tomatoes. They are opening one near Universal later in the year.

We all miss Sweet Tomatoes. If BJs close down I'll be devastated.

Agreed. Their choices are far more interesting than Sweet Tomatoes if you just want salad as well. They are big enough for my mum and I to share one.
