Italy - 14 days September 2020 - Travel Day

Back again for travel day

So we checked out at 11am, our flight was early afternoon (initial flight was luton, then cancelled to Gatwick in the evening then early afternoon) so we was unsure the holiday would go ahead!

We left the suitcases in the hotel, pottered about in shops, we was in b&m picking up sweets for the flight/airport, by chance we picked up spare masks, the medical looking ones (this come in handy!...)

Shortly later on we headed onto the Metrobus using mobile phone ticket QR code purchased the day before, check in was a breeze, however...

As we queued a representative from Easyjet was announcing to those within his vicinity that everyone has to have certain types of masks or they can't board! Apparently this was a rule from Italy - luckily enough we picked up earlier in the day! Lots of people panicking, asking where they can get those masks, luckily we had spare and gave to those near us who needed one, not one mention on the easyjet bookings but hey ho. Security was a breeze, very efficient and all covid restrictions in place, the flight was pretty full, possibly a full flight, masks where to be worn when not eating/drinking.

Flight took off on time and landed 12 minutes early, first stop...Naples.

A bit naughty of Easyjet not to warn about the masks

but sounds like a good flight over
