We've not stayed in a 1 bed at either with the 4 of us since 2013, but mine were 18 & 11 then and we've managed fine in both.

I don't recall the bathroom at OKW ever being an issue, but the extra bathroom at AKL (&BLT 1 beds) was a major draw for us.

It's hard to beat the extra space when they're that much older, although I find the 1 beds at Kidani spacious enough.

Not a lot of help really I know, but I'd probably choose AKL unless we really wanted the Springs access.

I’ve taken the plunge and moved the booking to OKW. Just need to work out what to do for the first 5 days.

We went 94 and they used to have free beer and buffet lined up in the Hospitality House every Tues - Wed. Oh how times have changed! He bought another 250 that trip.!

We bought in and have never regretted it. OKW every trip though!

Sorry bit off track! but mention OKW and off I go!

Book it Bev!

Ha edit to say they had hard hats being shown around not building it as it reads 🤣
Can you put the photos on here, would like to see that if your brother doesn’t mind?
He got a total bargain didn’t he. 400 for £10k. I bet all the free tickets were worth about 2.5k back then as well. He could sell it all for about 30k now.

What about 2 studios instead? Of a value one bed / 2 studios at bay lake?

Sorry if you’ve already discounted these options x

Haha he would never sell he's more OKW mad than me!
Another who has spent only the occasional day away from there (we're a pretty unadventurous family 🤣 )

I’d love to see the Disney files also. I am a rather sad Disney history nerd.
I actually love OKW also, Boardwalk is our favourite but I think it has something about it. My wife likes the ones that do yoga and classes like Boardwalk, BLT etc, not sure if OKW does, SSR does so maybe they do. Last time I was at OKW was 2016.

I have taken photos of first three will post when I work out how🤣 theres a Gym and some activities but not sure re Yoga. We have a contract at Saratoga but never stayed, although looks great. We walk down to Springs and call in Turf Club sometimes. We also play Golf at LBV and the clubhouse is great.
Boardwalk is amazing, I just love the feel of the place, we always have our photo taken on the big settee!
Belle Vue Lounge, Tim the barman, late night Port on the Balcony. Perfect.
