luckily had 2020 points banked and used 2021 points so quite happy I'm sorted but looks like lots of DVC people have lots of points to use next 12 months ...

There's next to nothing for most of October because of the 50th anniversary, literally not one DVC room at all for the 1st or 2nd. SSR is the only resort with more than 2 or 3 free nights in the first half of October!

Fingers crossed for availability at 7 months now, although I'm tempted to snag the cabin incase we can't get GF at 7 months.

I know these aren't normal times, but does anyone have any experience of getting 2 bed LVs at GF at that time of year, I feel that it shouldn't be challenging, but also feel there's no normal experience at the moment!

We got it , so have 8 nights at BCV and 7 nights at GFV in dedicated 2 beds, I'm very excited to stay at GF, it never used to interest me and is now the only DVC resort I've not stayed at (aside from Riviera).

Actually went for standard view in the end as it was 76 fewer points, with still so much uncertainty with both of our upcoming trips, we would have had to pull some forward from 2023 to get to lake view and I just didn't want to do that at the moment.

Any great GF tips? We've eaten at Narcoosees & V&As, but that's pretty much it for our tours of the GF, other than seeing the gingerbread house at Christmas.
