Does anyone know who the next James Bond is?
Has it even been released ? Dh swears blind that it has as he ‘heard’ it on the radio today, but can’t remember who

Dd thought that it maybe Rege-Jean Page ( the count in Bridgerton)
And Ds thinks it maybe Idris Elba...
I’m still quite happy with Daniel Craig

It’s not been announced. Unlikely to be until after the next film finally been released. There have been multiple rumours. Normally it’s the star of the latest hit drama/film the media report they could be the next Bond.

Daniel Craig is still Bond for the time being. No Time To Die still hasn’t been released.

Odds change every day for the next Bond. Rege Jean Page is rumoured to heading to Wakanda rather than MI6 That’s a very strong rumour.

Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddlestone, Henry Cavill, James Norton, Sam Heughan, Cillian Murphy, Richard Madden and Aidan Turner are all on the bookies list. Tom Hardy is current favourite.

Idris Elba has unfortunately I think missed the boat age wise. I’d love him to be Bond.

Rege - Jean Page has mysteriously not signed up for the second series of Bridgerton so that has probably set the rumour mill off.

The new film isn’t released until autumn so I cannot see the new Bond being announced until well after then.

I saw something about this yesterday I think, an actor arriving in uk that was tipped to be Bond.

I’ll see if I can find it again.

ETA - yep it was Rege - Jean Page as others have suggested. Looks to be just a rumour though.

Shock horror but I’ve no idea who he is! Never watched Bridgerton.

I’m with you there .. I didn’t see how it could be announced until Daniel Craig had done his last film but then it is overdue for release and with year that we’ve had I wouldn’t be surprised

Each series is supposed to concentrate on each sibling tho p, so I don’t expect he’d have a big enough part ..

It isn't that he has mysteriously not signed up for series 2, it is more to do with the fact that series 2 follows the plot of Book 2 of the Bridgerton series, and book 2 doesn't really feature his character (it focuses more on his wife's brother's love life's) so there wasn't really a role for him unless they deviate massively from the books
