Expedition Everest - 15 years old (yesterday)

Expedition Everest had its grand opening on 7th April 2006, making it 15 years old yesterday.

There were some special rice crispy cakes made - not sure if they just went to cast members or were also given to guests.

What I didn't realise is that the ride was in the Guinness Book of Records as the most expensive roller coaster built, until Hagrids came along.

We were there on our honeymoon in June 2006 and we still love it just as much. When my daughters went on it for the first time a few years ago it’s something I’ll remember forever. They loved it.

We did a late night event and done this 4 times back to back in the dark. It was awesome.

Along with SSE my favourite ride on Disneyworld property.
