Best lazy river?
Hi all,
We are contemplating Volcano Bay for the first time in October, in addition to our regular visits to Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. I admit I am not remotely bothered about the water rides in any of them, but I can float around the lazy rivers in typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach for hours! Pure bliss! ❤️ We went to Aquatica once when it first opened and I wasn’t impressed as their lazy river was not lazy enough for me, haha! So can anyone tell me - if it’s all about the LAZY river for me, will I enjoy Volcano Bay? |

volcano bay have 2 rivers, one has the tubes and is a nice slow ride around which i think you will like. the other has no tubes but you get life vests and float is a strong current with waves appearing occasionally from under the volcano. You may not like that one as much.

I think the lazy rivers at Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are the best ones if you really want lazy. I didn’t think the lazy river at Volcano was better than the Disney ones. For me I prefer “not lazy” and Roa’s Rapids at Aquatica is the best.

I am not normally a Disney fan, but I must admit that having tried Aquatica, Volcano Bay, Discovery Cove, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, imho the two Disney lazy rivers win hands down.
Roa Rapids is great fun, but hardly Lazy.

Thank you everyone 👍 I’m glad I asked now, as I had read rave reviews about Volcano Bay’s not so lazy river and I had a feeling I would be as disappointed as I was with Aquatica.
So I won’t worry that I’m missing out now & will instead carry on with endlessly floating around BB & TL 😂 |

What I find about the lazy river as long as you know the course it’s easy to get to any attraction around the park.

Volcano Bay is definitely my favourite water park! They have 2 rivers one is fast like at Aquatica and the other is a slow lazy river which goes through dark tunnels in the volcano. I think they are both great!
