Eagle Pointe villa and area

Hi
Has anyone stayed at Eagle Pointe? We are looking at next year and have previously stayed near Championsgate Gate, the traffic was awful. We won't be doing Disney only Universal. Is this a good area to look at and would we avoid some disney traffic? Any other better areas l should look at? Thank you

Eagle Pointe is a great location although we stayed in a terrible (non Dibb) villa there). The houses are older so if you want something a bit more modern then have a look at Terra Verde

We have stayed at Eagle Pointe a couple of times. Yes older villas but ours was very nice. Loved the location. Not far from 192 and a quick nip up the road to Walmart. We liked it there. As has been said, if you are looking for modern this wont be the place to go. Ours was well furnished and overlooked the lake. Sorry cant remember who I booked it with.
