I ate a northern dinner tonight
Knowing that Northern people eat curry and chips for dinner I wanted to experience being Northern for just one night (minus the flat cap, cold weather and fried Mars bar) so I decided to eat curry and chips tonight and I must say it was a strange experience (Marks curry with my home made chips):

See we have dinner & tea and I am down South (well South West to be precise so maybe that makes a difference ? )
Have had fish, chips & curry sauce, but never actual curry with chips.

Usually though I have the same chips as this photo shows with curry. Not thick wedge type ones. I’m sure that would have altered your experience MH.
