Eldest is 25 still at home - but is about to buy a house with his girlfriend after saving the large deposit for it by himself.
Middle son, 21, still at home, finishing Uni, qualifies as a Nurse this summer and has a job to walk into, already has a lot of savings and a home buying ISA, so will buy a house and move out in next few years he says.
Youngest is just finishing first of 6 years at Uni (Student Doctor) so will be 'at home' in between Uni terms for quite a while yet.

I left at 18, moved back for a year in my 20s,
Hubby left after University and never went back

My son moved out when he bought his first house at 22. My daughter moved out aged 17 when she went to Uni and was away for 4 years. She returned home last June as she was paid off from her work due to COVID. I moved out when I was 22 and DH was 21

I left home at 18 to go to University, then moved in with my boyfriend (now Husband). I never went back to live with my parents. Our daughter left home to go to Art College at 17, after college/uni she rented her own flat in London (where she worked). She then bought her own flat, but now sub lets it and lives with her partner. She’s never lived with us since, but obviously we’ve stayed over with her and vice versa. I’m delighted that she’s so independent.

DS1 moved back after Uni at 21. He moved out 2 years later into rented accommodation then bought his own house 2 years after that.

DS2 has profound disabilities and will live with us as long as we can manage him.

I can’t shake mine lol 😂
Ds 25 lives at home, dd 18 lives at home but should be at uni halls but hated it so works online.Ds 30 has been in Canada for the last two years, he’s returning to live with us in June. His wife is coming in a July and dh is building an extension for them. They should be saving and buying a house and moving in the next couple of years, I’m glad they want to be with us still.
I’m sure they will eventually get partners and move on but they can do it when they are ready

I was 25 when I moved out and moved in with then DBF, now DH. My brother moved out not long after I did, when he was 29 and got fed up of commuting to Manchester for work, he then got relocated to Glasgow.

DD is nearly 6, so I’ve got a long time to wait for that yet.

I went to uni at 18 then moved back in with my parents from 21 until I bought my own house with my boyfriend (now hubby) age 27.
In those 6 years my friend was renting her own place and I spent weekends out clubbing and staying at her place. All the freedom of my own place without the cost and chores! 😉
