Pre Trip Report- May 2017 (25th Anniversary)

Hello all

Pre trip report here for our birthday trip in May 2017. Not only is it the mothers birthday its the 25th anniversary! We went just after the 20th so it will be nice to be there on the actual anniversary. Looking forward to the surprises they have in store.

From 27th May-1st June 2017, we are going back to DLP for the mothers birthday. There's me(Hannah), my mum(Jackie), my dad(Richard) and my godson(Riley) who will be just 2years. Riley has never been before so hopefully it will be fun. He has a bit of an obsession at the moment with George Pig and Mickey. Hoping he will like the characters, when we took him to a caravan park in June last year he loved the characters, however we all know they tend to go through that stage.

For the first time ever we are staying at the Newport Bay!

We went to for a snoop around in July and fell in love with it so we thought we would splash out for a trip there.

Only issue is pool is closed from the 29th, booo! However, the first night we are at the explorers and then we will get one day to use the pool when we are there. Anyone know if I can ask to use New York or Sequioa's pool? I promise we are not pirates with all this nautical hotel themes

We adored the Explorers before, just wish it was a Disney hotel. Anyone ever done their 6D cinema thing? I know it costs, but thought it looked pretty cool. I remember before there being like a soft play area? Anyone been? Do you pay to use it or?

We are flying like we usually do, from SOU to CDG. We did book with Flybe to Orly as to be honest we dislike CDG, however about a week ago they changed our flights on us.

As we don't have tickets for the first day we get there, we are planning to go to Val D'Europe. When we went in July 16 we got lost, so hopefully we wont this time. Last time it was lovely to go around the toy shop and in the supermarket we can get some snacks a lot cheaper than we have in the petrol station!

Then hopefully we will be back in time to check in to our room, hoping to have a swim before having dinner in the Disney village and an early night. Thinking of EOS for dinner.

We have some other things planned like where we want to go for meals and have Plaza Gardens character breakfast on the 29th for mums birthday.

That's about all so thank you for reading, hope you all have a magical day!
