Here we go again ...
Although it’s said nearly every year, I think this really will be our last family holiday for a while. Our DSs will be 25 and 23 and youngest DS is bringing his GF along (also 23). Youngest has got a place on a 2 year’s Masters course at Leeds Uni starting in Sept and will only get 3 weeks holiday next summer. As eldest DS is a teacher and and I am a school administrator, we have to go in school holidays and not sure if they will all tie up at the moment and even if they do, if the flight prices are not good, we won’t be going (we are paying for the Masters course so that’s costing us a fortune!).
Youngest DS’s GF is fortunate enough to be extremely well travelled but her mum never fancied theme parks so GF is very excited about coming with us and seeing Disney and Universal. So, here goes:- Sun 21st Jul - stay over at Premier Inn, Manchester Airport (dinner at The Romper) Mon 22nd Jul - 11.05 flight to ATL. Land 14.50. Fly to MCO 18.00. Land at MCO 19.37. Collect car, drive to Bahama Bay, hopefully arriving approx 21.00. Whilst we all unpack, DH will go to Bamboo Wok for take-out. Instacart delivery should be at Bahama Bay Tues 23rd Jul - early morning visit to Walmart for a few bits then AK morning to mid afternoon. If not been to Walmart first thing will need to call there but if not, a little stroll at Celebration then Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. Weds 24th Jul - Epcot - morning to mid afternoon. Lunch at QS in France pavilion. Chill at pool then dinner at Miller’s Ale House Thu 25th Jul - my birthday! Early start at MK, lunch @ BOG @ 12.00. Leave after parade to chill for a couple of hours. Dinner at Bahama Breeze @ LBV followed by mini golf at Crossroads. Fri 26th Jul - chill morning at pool. Lunch in condo. Epcot mid afternoon until park closes. Dinner at Lotus Blossom. Sat 27th Jul - chill morning at pool. Lunch in condo. Afternoon stroll round Mall at Millennia. Dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Sun 28th Jul - chill morning round pool. Lunch @ Mara in AKL then to AK mid afternoon to park close. Dinner at Pizzafari Family Dining @ 18.40. Mon 29th Jul - Blizzard beach in morning to mid afternoon then DHS to park close. Tues 30th Jul - chill at pool in morning then MK mid afternoon to park close. Wed 31st Jul - DHS morning to mid afternoon. Buy pizza and salad from Walmart on the way back for chilled evening in condo/pool. Thu 1st Aug - early check in to RPR club level. Breakfast in club lounge then IOA until mid afternoon. Back to RPR for quick dip in pool then lounge for food and drink. Evening to be decided. Fri 2nd Aug - USF all day Sat 3rd Aug - tax free shopping weekend! Vineland outlets in the morning and I-Drive in the afternoon. Early dinner at Bubbalou’s Bodacious BBQ then to Universal parks for one last time for the Harry Potter mad GF. Sun 4th Aug. - to be decided. Definitely packing at some point and Disney Springs or revisit a Disney park (prob AK if not had a FP for FOP and try to get one for this morning/afternoon). Dinner @ Manny’s (traditional last night meal) Mon 5th Aug - check out Bahama Bay then to TL until 15.00. Leave to go to airport for 16.00. Direct flight to MAN leaving at 19.00.

Sounds lovely!
I have to confess I wasn't really concentrating that much past arrival day. Was busy thinking about Bamboo Wok and General Tso's chicken ☺️ Think it's time for my breakfast! |

We’ve got to have Bamboo Wok on arrival night - it’s as traditional as Manny’s on the last night. I can probably put money on us having it again on the evening I’ve got pizza from Walmart pencilled in!
This is an absolute must for DH and youngest DS! I certainly will.
