Ticketed Event Early Morning Magic - same as extra morning hours?
We are going to Florida for the first time ever in August and I am planning our itinerary by using the very excellent Dibb Busy Day Guide. As we are staying onsite (AKL) I am following the rule of choosing which park to visit based on extra morning and evening hours. But I am a bit confused by the ‘special ticketed event - Disney Early Morning Magic’ from 7.45 to 9.00am on 14th August. Is the same as extra morning hours or is it something different?

No, EMM is a paid event where ticket holders get unlimited access to a few rides in Fantasyland (7DMT, PP and WTP - although sometimes they open things like the carousel as well) for an hour before regular guests. It goes until 10am although regular guests can access from 9 as usual - EMM guests use the FP queue during that last hour. And they get a buffet breakfast included.
ETA: Morning EMH at MK is only on Fridays. So any other time you see an early event, it will be EMM instead which can be up to twice a week. Typically Sundays and Tuesdays. It's a small event which will make no noticeable difference to crowd levels if you wanted to go to MK one of those days - you just won't be able to enter the lands until 9am along with the rest of the crowd. It’s well worth the extra money, one of the highlights of our last trip.

That's really good to hear as I have booked it for our first morning, I didn't realise you could use fast pass lanes between 9-10am was this just on the 3 rides ?
I have not read many reviews so good to hear a positive one

Yes, just on the three rides. I believe that's how it works based on the reviews I've read. Although most tend to go rope drop other rides and grab breakfast in that final hour.

We are planning on doing this for our August trip- it's down on the Dibb theme park hours but not released by Disney as yet. Can I ask when you were able to yours?

No you use the fastpass Lane . So basically on mine train you go down the actual fastpass Lane , ride , get off and get back on again . We rode it 14 Times on the trot. We then went over t9space at 8:55 and got straight on space then went back for breakfast. For entry go down Main Street and then up the walkway round the back of the castle , someone will be there with an iPad and give you a wristband for the event.
Use your 3 fastpass for later In The day when the queues build and after breakfast has finished .
