Keys to the kingdom Tour age restriction strick?
Hi,
I'll be having a birthday day at Disney in the summer and would love to do the KTTK tour with my son. He will only be 15 (and a half ) though. Are they super strict about the 16 yr age limit? Would he need to show ID. He is a big boy so would pass for older but if they need ID then i guess it wouldn't work Thanks

Yes, they will ask for ID. There are backstage areas accessed on that tour that have a minimum age (Health & Safety) so they will make sure they're covered.
As an alternative, the Marceline to MK tour is for 12 and up. Not as in-depth as KTTK but still a nice one by the looks of it. |

We had similar issue when I did Wild Africa Trek. Youngest was 7 (minimum age is 8) however was tall and heavy enough based on the criteria provided, but sadly couldn't do it.

Very strict. To do with preserving the magic but also insurance/health and safety in backstage areas.
When we did Backstage Magic, 2 women who looked to be late forties/fifties were sent back to their hotel to collect ID which they hadn't brought...they had to rejoin the tour later. What a waste of money! You'll just have to book another trip 😃

We weren't asked for ID on KTTK - but sounds like that was just a one-off!

We were told to bring our passports for the KTTK tour.
